Women’s World Summit Foundation (WWSF)
ELIZA is a member of the International Organization WWSF, whose basic goal is to defend the rights of women and children, as well as to empower them through specialized activities and programs.
With regard to the issue of child abuse, WWSF has been organizing since 2000 an Ιnternational Αwareness Campaign on the occasion of the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse (November, 19). It has also established yearly international awards for organizations contributing to the prevention of this phenomenon, while it participates in the research field via the online database WWSF Clearinghouse for Prevention of Child Abuse and Violence Against Children, which hosts best practices and all innovative programs regarding the prevention of child abuse.
International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN)
ELIZA is also a member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), based in Colorado, U.S.
ISPCAN connects a worldwide cross-section of professionals so that they can bring their forces together in the fight against child abuse and neglect. It also draws up research protocols that provide comparative data amongst different countries, while it offers training material to its members for the development of educational programs on a national and international level.
