Aphrodite Stathi, Executive Director of ELIZA

Aphrodite Stathi holds a master’s degree (MSc) from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences on the scientific field of Organizational and Social Psychology, while she is a graduate of Psychology (BA) from the American College of Greece, Deree College. She possesses long-term experience in Business Development and Strategic Communication, as she has worked for more than 15 years as a senior executive in the fields of Strategy, Communication, Public Relations, Advertising and Market Research both in Greek and international organizations.

As Executive Director of ELIZA, Aphrodite Stathi’s decisions and actions stem from the recognition of areas of need where child abuse and neglect are concerned and the choice of correct priorities.  She has planned and implemented important new collaborations, opened up new lines of communication and extended the circle of friends and supporters

Simultaneously she encourages the people of ELIZA and all collaborators to work as a team, in view of achieving results that can significantly benefit children in need.

Maria Nomikou, Fundraising Manager

Maria Nomikou studied Communication and Media at the Panteio University of Social and Political Sciences, in Athens. For more than fifteen years she has worked in a number of leading International Organizations, developing strategies and implementing a variety of fund-raising activities. She is fluent in English, Spanish and she learns French. She writes books for children, which she enjoys presenting at interactive story-telling sessions. She paints in her free time.

Emy Ntotsika, Project Manager

Emy Ntotsika holds a Graduate and a Master’s degree from the department of Marketing and New Technology Communications from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

She started working in the field of Corporate Communications in 2010, gaining valuable experience from prestigious organizations, like the PR agency V+O Group and the multinational company Procter & Gamble Co. In this environment, she developed a wide network with key journalists.  Emy has served as a volunteer in the “Smile of a Child” Organization, where she visited and cared for children living in the public Children’s Hospital. She is also a founding member of the yearly event “A State for children” at Patras.

Katerina Lambrou, Project Manager

Katerina Lambrou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the American College of Greece (ACG).

She has worked as an administration officer and personal assistant since 1982 in a variety of sectors, such as media, state agencies, consumer industry and services in the educational, financial and marketing sector. Katerina has significant experience in office administration, and in establishing, organizing and operating enterprises and projects.

She has lived abroad for 10 years, in Korea, Israel, Japan and Indonesia, where she was involved in a number of projects including adult education programs, and voluntary work in foreign-language schools.

Before undertaking her current position as Project Manager, Katerina offered her voluntary services to ELIZA   for 2 years (secretarial and other administrative tasks).

Eleni Athanasiadi, Director of Secreteriat

Eleni Athanasiadi is a graduate of the Athens Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science.  Following her university graduation, as a swimming champion, she worked as  a swimming coach for 12 years, working with young children in major sports clubs like the National Athletic Club (Ethnikos G.S.), Panionios and Panellinios. For 15 years, she worked in the secretariat department of major companies (FORD-STAKOR, MOUYER).

As Chief Secretary, Eleni has served ELIZA since its foundation in 2008 and is responsible for a wide area of responsibilities.
