A. On April 1st we launched a new community service programme called VIMA/STEP in collaboration with the prestigious international organization: “one child, one world”, to provide counseling and assistance to vulnerable families with young children in depressed areas. The purpose of this service is early intervention in order to prevent the phenomenon of neglect and abuse, as the result of poverty sickness, unemployment, social isolation, discrimination, etc.

B. Our Association could not remain oblivious to the immediate needs caused by the economic crisis in Greece. We decided to focus on the acute problem of the undernourishment of school children and we adopted two schools in depressed areas, where we provide school meals to over 100 children.
